Firefly Nashville Restaurant

Firefly has a great chef who accommodates vegans with a seasonal plate of delicious salads, roasted potatoes, and creative medleys of veggies, nuts and special dressings. I just ask for a vegan plate with nothing fried. (Having a gourmet southern slant, sometimes she fries vegetables, but I just don't like fried food.)

The Vegan and the Carnivore

This Green Hills restaurant, Firefly, has a creative chef. She knows me and my husband as "The Vegan and the Carnivore," which may make a great name for a restaurant review column one day. She prepares the most beautiful plate of seasonal vegetables and salads?from spicy beet salad with pistachios to grilled asparagus with hot peppers, mediterranean orzo with black olives and my favorite, some sort of spicy slaw with julienne veggies.
