I have a huge collection of vegan cookbooks, and I love to plow through them and try new recipes, but I find that most of the time I cook by taking inventory of our refrigerator's contents and then putting something together. Very seldom is there a recipe, and even less seldom could I remember exactly what I put into a dish in order to recreate it exactly the same again.
