Compassionate Vegan
by Diana
(Berlin, Germany)
Be a Compassionate VeganMost of all, I went vegan because of compassion with and for the non-human beings who are just as good as humans and who want to enjoy their lives just like we do.
Secondly, I learned more and more about what the animal exploiting industries do to the environment.
Animal "production" is a crime against the entire world.
No one who is educated about these things can think differently. (Anti-vegans are usually not informed.)
I think compassion should be the most important reason for why someone becomes and stays vegan.
I refuse to accept a sociopathic global human society.
We can do better than we have been doing. Much, much better!
Veganism is one example and just the start.
We can first take away the pressure on our climate and water by switching from animal to plant based products. This will cool down the atmosphere instantly. Then we'll have time to develop new technologies of transport.
All those tons of methane from the animal industries are much worse than all the CO² from all the transport systems in the world. Not only alternative sources say so. Even the U.N. does.
We must save our habitat, it's our obligation, as we have been destroying it, as well. We can repair the damage - only we can.
And we can be compassionate vegans and turn this world into something every being can enjoy!
